It is a mindful passive practice where majority of the poses are performed seated on the floor or lying down. The poses are held for longer periods of time to have deeper access to the body, targeting our connective tissues, fascia and ligaments with the aim of lubricating and protecting our joints. These are areas of the body often not reached with the other styles of yoga practice or fitness regimes.
Muscles will feel relaxed, mind will be calm, stress will be reduced, and flexibility will be improved.
