“Hatha” in Sanskrit means determination. “Ha” means the sun and “Tha” means the moon.
The practice is a combination of breath and postures that will improve the practitioner’s strength, flexibility, and alignment. There are also psychological benefits such as increasing mental strength, improve in focus and developing calmness of mind.
